Q: What products, technologies and solutions will your company bring to VisionChina (Shenzhen) 2022? What are the highlights? How will this change your company's competitiveness?
A: In this exhibition, Prezt mainly showed the optical measurement sensor series products, which are mainly used for three-dimensional measurement, which is quite consistent with the current key development direction of the industry. Another major category of products is the monitoring system used in laser processing technology. The exhibition site mainly brings sensors for processing laser welding, focus control before welding, and monitoring system for status during laser welding.
Our 3D measurement, laser welding monitoring and quality control systems have all experienced decades of technological precipitation, so these two types of products are relatively leading in the world, whether in the 3C and semiconductor fields where high-end manufacturing is more popular, or in the traditional automobile and new energy projects which are more prosperous now.
Q: Which of the domestic machine vision industry and laser industry started earlier?
A: Laser technology is commonly used in metal processing. In the early days, it was generally used for high-power laser processing, such as processing of some sheet metal parts, welding of large automobile parts, etc. The development and application of laser industry has a development process of 10-20 years. It has been more than ten years since Prezt entered the Chinese market. At that time, there had been many laser applications in the Chinese market.
The domestic machine vision industry started relatively late. The application of machine vision technology in industry has mainly gone through the 2D and 3D stages. What is little known is that there is a 2.5D era in between. The development of 2.5D is more 2D plus simple side height or simple single point side height, which together form the concept of 2.5D. If 2.5D is added, the time for 3D development may be longer, but the real 3D vision has only started in recent years.
Q: With the gradual upgrading of 2D imaging to 3D vision, 3D vision began to enter the early stage of rapid growth. How do you view the development of 3D vision?
A: As we all know, 3D itself is the result of multiple 2D combinations. 3D contains 2D, so when you have 3D data in your hand, you can easily turn it into 2D. The current limitation lies in the instability of data collection and the lack of computing power, resulting in higher efficiency in using 2D in more scenes. However, if 3D data can be obtained efficiently and with low consumption, the particularity of 3D will disappear, and 2D data can be easily converted.
The sensor is mainly used for 3D signal acquisition, but it still needs to process the data after acquisition. 3D is characterized by large data volume, so its overall development needs many factors to cooperate. For example, the improvement of computing power and the current application of AI or machine vision depth learning are the key factors to promote the development of vision sensors. Of course, the progress of sensor signal acquisition terminal will bring more practicability to 3D technology.
There will always be needs. When the technology becomes more practical or cheaper to meet the needs, it will slowly explode.
Q: What fields are the company's products mainly used in? What are the more promising markets for Prezt in the future?
A: At present, the main application fields of Prezt are mostly related to high-end manufacturing. There are relatively precise 3C industry manufacturing, more precise semiconductor industry, and also industries using advanced laser instruments for processing. These are not distinct industries. Stimulation can also be used in precision instruments such as 3C. More often, laser is used in the fine operation of relatively large objects, such as the automobile industry. Although its precision requirements are not as good as those of 3C industry, there are often more sophisticated requirements in actual customer requirements.
From the overall development trend, 3C is currently in a relatively gentle stage because there are no more new products or explosive products in its industry recently. The semiconductor industry will be the industry with rapid growth of Prezt. China Minkang Wufu, with a large annual chip usage, has its own spontaneous semiconductor market demand. In addition, semiconductor, as the core of all aspects of the electronic industry (electronic structure, control and automation, 3C), is the focus of national policy support. Internal and external factors together make this industry develop rapidly in the future.
Another area that Prezt expects relatively is new energy vehicles, specifically the lithium battery industry. There is a large demand for laser processing in the production, manufacturing and testing of lithium batteries, and safety is very important. Prezt can not only help lithium battery manufacturers improve their brand quality, but also guarantee the safety of lithium battery production.
In addition to the lithium battery industry in the field of new energy vehicles, another concern is the concept of intelligent vehicles. Now we know that the intelligent cars produced by the new force of car making are far superior to the traditional cars in terms of human-computer interaction system and car intelligence. The intelligent process of a car includes control system, software and hardware, and human-computer interaction. This process is similar to 3C's intelligence to some extent, except that the intelligent object is magnified from 3C's electronics to a car, and the process of intelligent interaction with people in the car cabin. This change has brought about the use demand of a large number of displays.
Q: As the machine vision market continues to mature, more and more enterprises begin to transform from product oriented enterprises to service oriented enterprises. What do you think about this?
A: Prezt's concept of service is hierarchical. The low-level service is the operation and maintenance of products, and the high-level service is to meet the application needs of customers. The operation and maintenance of the product reflects the failure rate of the product from another perspective. If the Pratt's product can reach the ideal state of extremely low failure rate and sufficient stability, the product operation and maintenance services can be eliminated, and will not be passive because of the product's own shortcomings.
Compared with the service of product operation and maintenance, Prezt pays more attention to helping customers apply the products to special scenarios and giving them support. Compared with products, these services are value-added services. In terms of service concept, Prezt hopes to provide customers with some value-added services, and that our products will be more adaptable to multiple scenarios.
Q: What's your overall impression of VisionChina2022 (Shenzhen)? What expectations do you have for the future development of China's machine vision field?
A: This exhibition is the first show of Prezt this year. It is not that we don't want to show up in more exhibitions, but this exhibition is the only one successfully carried out and successfully attended by Prezt in many exhibition plans this year. Under the strict national epidemic prevention policy and the sudden severe epidemic situation, the smooth holding of this exhibition is not easy for the organizers, visitors and our exhibitors. Perhaps most exhibitors are as ready as Prezt and have been expecting for a long time, but when too much expectation fails to meet our expectations, it is inevitable to feel frustrated. Especially for exhibitors or visitors who have no problem with epidemic prevention information, in the face of uncontrollable white list policies and sudden white list transcoding, even when they arrive at the entrance of the exhibition hall, they can not enter the exhibition hall, which is completely understandable.
