Direct control: 65 MP cameras for Canon EF lenses

The LXT series cameras are ideal for inspection applications where image acquisition accuracy and processing speed are critical. They are packed with features to meet the requirements of demanding applications. Specific features include Multi ROI, shadow correction, High Dynamic Range (HDR), IEEE 1588 Precision Time Protocol (PTP), and direct light source control (no external controller required). The camera's rugged M12 interface design, protection ratings of IP65 and IP67, and operating temperature range of -30°C to 60°C make it particularly suitable for applications in harsh environmental conditions, such as motion analysis in outdoor sports, and contact network and pantograph inspection in rail transportation. In addition, the 10 Gigabit Ethernet interface allows the camera to be easily, flexibly and cost-effectively integrated into the system, and also reduces analysis time by efficiently transmitting images at a bandwidth of up to 1.1 GB/s.
High-quality Canon EF lenses provide high-contrast images with a large depth-of-field effect. The camera also supports modern lenses driven by ultrasonic motors for precise, low-noise, fast and reliable focusing with lower power consumption, making it cost-effective and easy to reliably meet application requirements. The camera also features a Gpixel GMAX3265 sensor with excellent image quality and up to 66dB of dynamic range. The optical format is very compact (37mm diagonal) thanks to an image element size of only 3.2μm, which makes it easy to fit optional lenses and reduces the effects of peripheral shadows. The camera's exposure time can be set to a minimum of 19μs, reducing motion artifacts when capturing fast-moving objects. With camera resolutions of up to 65 megapixels, typically only half the number of cameras are needed to meet application requirements, resulting in lower system and integration costs and increased reliability.
