The A-58N focusable lens features a large through-aperture, large optical focus dynamic range and low wavefront error (0.1λ - 0.2λ typical) and is packaged with the same outer diameter dimensions as the A-39N for easy assembly.

Based on Corning Varioptic's breakthrough technology, the A-58N can be focussed with no moving parts at all.

Features of the A-58N include a dynamic range of 15 diopters, ensuring a 7 cm focus capability. It also has the same low energy consumption, high impact resistance and fast focusing capability of the A-series liquid lenses.

The lens is available in three different transmission-enhancing coatings, and the FPC-encapsulated version is available with or without an integrated temperature sensor.
