LUCID to Showcase New Camera Technologies at Vision China Shanghai 2024
LUCID is pleased to showcase its latest camera innovations at Vision China Shanghai, July 8-10, 2024. Visit us at booth #E1.1400 to learn about our special products designed for a variety of industrial applications.

New High-Pixel Triton?2 Short-Wave Infrared Cameras
Introducing the new Triton2 -2.5GigE short-wave infrared cameras featuring Sony’s high-resolution IMX992 and IMX993 SenSWIR InGaAs sensors. These advanced sensors offer superior performance in the short-wave infrared (SWIR) spectrum, with the IMX992 being a 5.2-megapixel sensor and the IMX993 being a 3.2-megapixel sensor. The Triton2 SWIR features 2.5GigE (300MB/s) bandwidth, IP67 protection and a compact package, making it highly cost-effective.

Triton?2 EVS Event Camera
The new Triton2 EVS Event Camera uses Sony’s IMX636 and IMX637 event-based sensors to capture event-based data. Rather than capturing frames as traditional cameras do, these sensors use event-based pixels to continuously sample incoming light and only generate a signal when the light level changes. The IMX636 and IMX637 sensors combine Sony’s CMOS sensor technology with PROPHESEE’s unique event-based Metavision? sensing technology.

High-speed Ethernet camera: 10G and RDMA technology
The award-winning Atlas?10 camera will bring us a new experience. This series has remote direct memory access (RDMA) function. This technology reliably streams data directly to main memory at a speed of 1.2 GB/s, bypassing the CPU and operating system. This improves throughput, reduces latency, and eliminates CPU utilization, making the Atlas10 camera an ideal choice for more reliable multi-10G camera applications.

Helios2 Ray Time of Flight + RGB Camera
Let’s see what the Helios2 Ray Time of Flight (ToF) camera combined with the Triton 3.2MP color camera can do for us. Using Sony’s DepthSense IMX556PLR ToF sensor, the Helios2 Ray can generate 3D point cloud images with color overlays in outdoor lighting conditions. The Helios2 Ray + RGB is equipped with a 940nm VCSEL laser diode that can produce real-time 3D point cloud images even in direct sunlight, making it suitable for a variety of outdoor applications.

Vision China Shanghai Seminar Presentation
LUCID will be presenting at the Vision China Shanghai Seminar Series on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 from 11:20 to 11:40 AM. Our presentation is titled “Advanced Imaging Applications Using LUCID’s Latest SWIR and UV Cameras” and will be presented by Ye Chong, Field Application Engineer at LUCID.
