Recently, Zhongzi Su Research Institute - Zhongke Xingzhi released the first generation of 3D structured light camera that can reconstruct 3D point cloud online in real time, providing more options for industry users, which has been officially accepted for trial.
The 3D structured light camera is a non-contact measurement instrument based on the structured light measurement method, which is mainly implemented by projection equipment projecting streak light with encoded information on the object under test, recording the streak light image sequence with a camera device, and using specific algorithms to derive the 3D data of the object under test.
Compared to 3D line laser cameras, the first generation of 3D structured light cameras released by CFSR-CSTI has obvious advantages over 3D line laser cameras, which can be used for online real-time 3D point cloud reconstruction. Based on the hybrid structured light technology of phase shift and Gray code, the 3D reconstruction of the whole surface can be completed without moving the camera or the object under test, which not only saves the cost of high-precision mobile equipment, but also makes installation, commissioning and maintenance more convenient.
