Dr. Gang Jin, Senior Engineer Senior Image Algorithm Scientist, is currently a Senior Image Algorithm Scientist and Director of Research Group of Lingyun Light Technology Co. He has more than 20 years of experience in vision and artificial intelligence, and is a member of the Expert Pool of Intelligent Robotics of MIIT, the Expert Pool of Optoelectronics of Beijing Science and Technology Commission, and the Expert Pool of Beijing Information Technology Association.

He graduated from the Institute of Image Recognition and Artificial Intelligence of Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 2002 with a PhD degree in Pattern Recognition and Intelligent Systems. He has served as senior manager of Asia Vision (AVT) Beijing Branch, project manager, professional department manager, deputy chief engineer, director of R&D center, system architect, and vice president of research institute.
Published more than ten papers. Main inventor of 5 invention patents, participated in the development of national standards, industry standards, industry white papers, etc.
Chaired or participated as the main technical backbone to complete more than ten machine vision product development. As a technical backbone and sub-topic leader, he participated in the declaration and implementation of major instrumentation special projects and engineering laboratories of the Ministry of Science and Technology.
