On May 08, 2009, DALSA announced the addition of two new products to the HS TDI family: HS-82-04K80 and HS-82-04K40, with a maximum line frequency of 110kHz at 4K resolution and pixel size of 14um x 14um. It can be used for FPD, PCB, solar panel detection and document scanning, mail sorting and Web detection.

HS TDI camera is a very sophisticated and advanced product line representing DALSA TDI technology. The HS-82-04K80 and HS-82-04K40 have higher sensitivity and faster line frequency than previous products in the series. With a pixel size of 14um, it offers a higher sensitivity (four times that of the original 7um), allowing it to be twice as sensitive in the 48-level TDI mode as the previous product's 96-level TDI mode, while roughly doubling the speed, but keeping the price unchanged.
