On June 10, 2009, RAD-Icon announced the launch of the new Skiagraph8 PT camera, the latest product branch of the VLA(Very Large Area)CMOS X-Ray family. The Skiagraph8 PT is a portable product, packaged in a rugged package for field operations, that supports the detection of Xray rays in energy levels ranging from 10 to 160 kVP. Applications include medical and veterinary applications, industrial nondestructive testing (10mm thick steel plate or 25mm thick aluminum plate), etc. In line with the Skiagraph family of products, the main features of the Skiagraph 8 PT include: low power consumption, excellent DQE, low noise, high resolution and higher sensitivity.

The Skiagraph product line is equipped with RadEye100 imaging chip, with an image size of no less than 8 x 8 "(20 x 20cm).
Characteristic parameters
