On May 29, 2009, JAI announced the release of its Compact CSeries four CCD cameras. The CM-141MCL and CB-141MCL are equipped with the MinicameraLink interface. CM-141PMCL and CB-141PMCL are configured with the POCL interface.
These four 1.4 megapixel cameras (CM-141MCL/CM-141PMCL - black and white chip, CB-141MCL/CB-141PMCL - Bayer color chip) are also equipped with a highly sensitive CCD chip, a high signal-to-noise ratio (> 58 dB), a frame speed of 30fps, The ultra-compact size and numerous features ensure that these four cameras are a perfect match for machine vision, medical imaging, food screening, transportation and high-end surveillance.
Excellent sensitivity and spectral response
The four latest cameras are equipped with Sony ICX-285 2/3 "Progressionally Scanning CCD (1392 × 1040 pixels) to ensure excellent sensitivity and spectral response. The pixel size of the chip is 6.45μm, and the latest microlens technology is used to achieve a maximum sensitivity of 0.03Lux at low SMEAR. At the same time, the response spectrum of the chip is very wide, and the sensitivity of the 945nm band in the near infrared spectrum is 4 times that of the traditional chip.
The signal-to-noise ratio exceeds 58 dB
Through complex circuit design and cooling design, these four cameras can provide a signal-to-noise ratio of more than 58dB, meeting the current imaging applications with higher requirements for image quality. The latest models combine high reliability and robustness with a long product life.
30 frames per second
All four cameras have a frame speed of up to 30fps (continuous or trigger) at full resolution. There are various Triggering modes to choose from, including the RCT (Reset Continuous Triggering). The RCT mode keeps the camera running continuously while waiting for the trigger signal.
Application fields:
• Machine vision
• Medical (Life Sciences, Spectroscopy)
• Food screening, such as looking for spoilage or damage inside fruit (apply NIR properties)
• HD surveillance/security field, including face recognition, iris recognition, etc
• Traffic control and traffic management, such as daytime speeding snaps or nighttime NIR monitoring
Other Features:
• Preset shutter up to 1/10,000 s
• Programmable exposure up to 63 μs, more suitable for capturing high-speed moving objects
• More trigger modes to choose from including RCT
• Mini Cameralink interface guarantees a more compact size of 29mm(H)×44mm(W)×75mm(L), suitable for a smaller installation space
• Equipped with POCL interface model, without additional power supply
